Vleugelbonen zijn een meerjarige kruidachtige klimplant. 4 tot 12 centimeter lang. De wortels zijn vlezig, fusi-vorm, met knollen. De voedingswaarde van vleugelbonen is te danken aan het hoge gehalte aan plantaardige eiwitten - tot wel 37%. Het gebruik van vleugelbonen bij het koken is veel breder dan dat van andere peulgroenten. Feit is dat bijna alle delen van de plant voor voedsel worden gebruikt: met zaden, rauwe en gedroogde zaden, jonge scheuten, bladeren en bloemen.
Hoe te groeien,
Week de zaden 12-24 uur in een warme, vochtige omgeving.
De plaats van het planten van zaailingen of het zaaien van zaden in de grond wordt bijzonder zorgvuldig gekozen. Het voldoet aan de volgende vereisten:
1. Open ruimte
2. Veel zonlicht en warmte
3. Bijna altijd vochtige grond, maar niet te nat (anders gaan de wortels en onderste bladeren rotten).
De te planten grond moet goed los en licht zijn. Gebruik vooral gebieden met bladverliezende humus vermengd met zand. In zo'n land zijn de dunne vertakkende wortels van de plant gemakkelijk te kweken. Bij het planten van zaden in de grond, worden ze begin mei geplaatst. Voor zaailingen is de beste bewortelingstijd eind mei en begin juni. Als op dit moment de gemiddelde luchttemperatuur niet boven de 15C komt, worden de zaailingen in kassen geplaatst. Hoe u een zaailing kiest om te planten, hun uiterlijk zal u vertellen - bladeren (meestal 4-5 stuks) met een rijke groene kleur, de stengel rekt niet uit, maar valt niet op de grond.
Ze worden in rijen geplant met een verplichte rijafstand van 45-60 cm. Dit veroorzaakt een brede uitbreiding van de volwassen cultuur. Om één lopende meter te planten, neem je 7-8 zaden. Diepte voor aanplant - 4-5 cm. Als je de zaden dieper legt, zullen ze niet lang uit de grond komen. Als u echter aan alle vereisten voldoet, verschijnen de zaailingen binnen 20 dagen
