Blue Lotus

I’d been looking for a non-prescription way to help bring my anxiety down to a manageable level, preferably in tea form and organically grown. I found it with the Blue Lotus flowers I received from a few weeks ago. No, I’m not cured but didn’t expect to be. I am experiencing noticeable calming benefits from the teas so that’s good. I pour 3 cups of boiled water over 5 blossoms, cover, and steep for 30 minutes (stirring a few times). After thoroughly straining I transfer the hot tea to a quart canning jar and chill. Because I live with CPTSD the anxiety is a constant issue so most mornings, at mid-morning, I sip about 6oz over ice. This seems to work for me. It may be a placebo but it’s affective so I don’t mind.

Seems to work, good quality

The only possible negative is it was being shipped from Sri Lanka and took about a month to arrive. Other than that, the blue lotus flowers seemed excellent quality. It's a little too soon to tell if it's helping me sleep yet
